Special schools in Wales

The ULN service is available to special schools that have confirmed to the Welsh Government (WG) ULN Team (via NWASSH or SWASSH) they wish to participate. Data will be submitted to the Learning Records Service to get ULNs on a school-by-school basis via DEWi as the PLASC returns are received and approved by the WG Schools Information and Improvement Team.  The process will start in February 2012 and continue until the last PLASC return is processed in March 2012.

Special Schools wishing to participate in the ULN service should check that their details are correct on the UK Register of Learning Providers (http://www.ukrlp.co.uk/) and register with the Learning Records Service following the same process as Maintained Schools in Wales.
