Step 1 - Sign Up
Sign up as a Learner Registration Body (LRB)
In order to access the Learner Register Secure Portal your organisation must first register as a Learner Registration Body (LRB). To do this, you will need to complete and return two documents by post or fax:
- The Organisation Registration Form
You will need to include details of the organisation you want to register plus the name of the individual nominated as the Super User. This individual will be responsible for administering all other users of the Learner Register within your organisation.
- The Learning Provider Agreement
This is a statement of the contractual terms, conditions and obligations. It must be signed by an authorised representative on behalf of your organisation or learning provider - usually the Principal or equivalent.
Please note: This Agreement requires all users of our system to accept the terms of the User Agreement which details their responsibilities and commits them to using the system and associated data in an appropriate and approved manner.
Before completing this form please check that your organisation has not already applied for registration with us previously. You will also need to consider the appropriate level of registration for your organisation. Privacy Notice / Fair Processing Notice.
The Learning Provider Agreement, above, requires organisations to ensure learners see and read a copy of a Privacy Notice (also called a Fair Processing Notice (FPN)) as part of their enrolment/examination process.
We have produced a standard Privacy Notice for organisations to incorporate into their own forms and processes if they choose.
What happens next?
Once correctly completed documents have been received, our business support team will set up a provider account for you to access and use the Learner Register Secure Portal. The user name and password will be sent to your nominated Super User. They will need to log on, change the password and begin to create and set up other users if required.
