Information, Advice and Guidance Organisations

This area of the website is intended to provide support on how to administer Unique Learner Numbers (ULNs) and access Personal Learning Records relevant to the needs of Information, Advice and Guidance organisations (IAGs). 

In order to administer ULNs and access Personal Learning Records, your organisation will need to become a Learner Registration Body (LRB). To do this, a member of your senior management needs to sign and return the Organisation Agreement and Organisation Registration Form. Once we receive these, we will set up your account on the Learner Registration Service (LRS).

The LRS can be used to access Personal Learning Records to confirm learning and achievement information about the individuals you may be advising. This will enable IAGs to provide more responsive and tailored advice, based on the achievements in a learner's record. IAGs cannot access this information without the learner's permission and Unique Learner Number (ULN).
