Release 7: Advanced Notice
Version 7.0 of the Learning Records Service (LRS) Organisation Portal is scheduled for release at the end of April 2012.
This will be a major release, focusing on:
- Changes to learner management screens for Learner Registration Bodies (LRBs), and to Awarding Organisation (AO) screens, with a new look and feel designed to make these areas of the portal easier to use and understand. For learner management screens, this will complete the work begun in Release 5 last year, and will particularly affect screens used for:
- finding Unique Learner Numbers (ULNs)
- registering new learners
- making batch uploads
Updates to the upload functionality of the Awarding Organisation area, so that in future AOs will be able to upload all regulated qualifications, not just QCF qualifications as at present.
Prior to the release, the LRS will be running a programme of user testing.
More specific information about changes introduced in Version 7 and how they will affect users will be issued nearer to the release date.
